The Story of Murphy
The idea for Murphy was born in a kindergarten classroom. As a teacher, I searched for educational books that could introduce my students to the world's great cities, but I struggled to find stories that were both informative and truly engaging. Inspired by my own dog, Murphy, I began crafting mysteries set in far-off locations. My students were instantly hooked, learning real-world facts while following Murphy’s adventures.
While living in Amsterdam, I teamed up with illustrator Flos Vingerhoets and designer Rosa Groenewoud to bring Murphy to life for children everywhere. Hope you enjoy our adventures, Kelly & Murphy
